Our step-by-step approach to Implementation
The key to success lies in preparation
The cornerstone of a successful, low-risk project is thorough preparation. At Orbyt, we bring extensive knowledge and experience of the European invoicing landscape. Our goal is always to ensure the implementation of the Orbyt platform is as seamless as possible for our customers.

Phase 6
Acceptance
PHASE 1
Planning
We start with a technical workshop. Based on the information collected, Orbyt creates a delivery description with acceptance criteria. A detailed project plan and an activity plan are created in collaboration with the customer. This way, all expectations are aligned at an early stage, which contributes to lower risk and greater efficiency throughout the whole project.

Phase 2
Integration
In this phase, Orbyt will set up incoming and outgoing connections to the test environment.

Phase 3
Template
Orbyt will develop the templates and the specific logic in them based on documentation obtained from the customer.

Phase 4
Testing
A resource from Orbyt, which hasn’t been involved in the project, reviews to ensure that everything is by “best practice”. This phase ends with an acceptance test being carried out in accordance with the previously agreed plan, and a go/no go decision is made based on this test.

Phase 5
Production
When the solution is tested and approved by the customer, it will be copied to the production server.

Phase 6
Acceptance
If there are any errors in this period, Orbyt will be on stand-by to do any corrections.

High quality and efficient
With over 250 successful implementation projects under our belt, we have developed a project strategy that guarantees efficient, high-quality delivery. Each customer is assigned a dedicated project manager who dives into the details and tailors Orbyt’s standard project plan to the customers’ specific needs. We know no customers are the same, and we firmly believe that each solution should be customized to best support the client’s business.

“To help our customers succeed, we have to approach each project with heart and empathy, truly seeing and understanding our clients and their needs. Furthermore, we must grasp the needs of their end customers to ensure the best possible customer experience. We establish a partnership with our clients, becoming part of their journey and their success.
“Linda Rønning, Head of Project Management
A dedicated team
Orbyt allocates a dedicated team to each customer, starting the initial phase as early as possible to allow for thorough preparation. This involves collecting necessary information, such as format documentation.
We assign the right resources to ensure the necessary expertise based on the client’s unique needs and requirements. The Orbyt project manager is responsible for communication between all parties, meeting agreed deadlines, coordinating internal resources, and overseeing the overall delivery.
Our implementation experts handle the configuration of the agreed solution, provide advisory support to the customer for the technical integration between systems, and remain accessible to the customer’s technical specialists throughout the project.

The process
At Orbyt, we focus on delivering a service rooted in deep industry knowledge and a clear understanding of client needs and challenges, combined with product expertise in distribution, invoicing, and payments.
In the preparation phase, we gather information and meticulously plan the project. The next step is implementation, which includes setting up test environments and integrations, channel configuration, and conducting unit and acceptance tests before the final step: going into production.
Based on our experience, the following are essential for an effective implementation project:
- Development of a detailed and agreed-upon solution description
- Quality test files and documentation
- Close communication
- Project resources with the right expertise
- Thorough training and testing
