Schibsted partnering with Orbyt
Schibsted is a family of digital brands with a mission to empower people in their daily lives by providing leading online marketplaces and building world-class media houses.
On their journey to further develop, Schibsted was looking for one invoice distribution partner for all Nordic countries and decided to partner with Orbyt.
It was important for Schibsted to find a forward-leaning partner with good routines for data storage, data security, and error handling.
“We had the advantage of having used other vendors earlier, therefore we could make a decision based on experience. Orbyt was quick in their response, and we could see how much work they had put into it. We got the impression that they really wanted to work with us”

One platform across countries
Orbyt is an expert in the invoicing and payments universe and delivers one common invoice distribution platform across all markets that Schibsted is present in. Implementing Orbyt will automate and standardize the invoice process, hence reducing the total cost for Schibsted, while providing a cost-efficient, professional, and reliable service.
“We have a global mindset, even if there are differences between countries, we want a global template and be as harmonized as possible. This is much easier with one vendor rather than several vendors. With Orbyt we can roll out across all locations at once”

Good process
At Orbyt we focus on delivering a service to our customers that leverages our deep knowledge of the industry we serve, their needs, and issues, and combining that with our product expertise within distribution, invoicing, and payments.
Schibsted was looking for a partner who could offer their expertise and recommendations.
“Orbyt has a competent team who are solution-oriented, much more than what we are used to with other vendors. During the implementation project the team has been proactive, coming up with suggestions and making recommendations rather than simply demanding what is needed to get us into production”

Expectations
Going forward Schibsted is expecting precision and to get feedback on their requirements, not only execution.
“Orbyt has the experts, and we expect their guidance, especially when it comes to the market, new channels, etc. We expect the same good flow and collaboration with the same level of response, quality, and security in deliveries that we received so far. Precision is key”
says Leiv-Håkon Åsheim.
