Orbyt partners with Digdir on Peppol Access Point services
Orbyt is proud to announce a new partnership with the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency (Digdir), the government body leading Norway’s digital transformation efforts. This collaboration marks an important milestone for Orbyt, as we expand our services further into the Norwegian public sector.
Digdir plays a central role in enabling a more coordinated and efficient digital society. With the vision “Together for a simpler digital everyday life”, the agency’s mission is to drive a user-oriented and unified digitalisation of public services, in close cooperation with both public and private sectors.
Under this partnership, Orbyt will provide Access Point services related to Digdir’s Digital Post to Citizens solution, acting as both the sender’s and recipient’s Access Point for digital messages and print distribution. The service is part of the Peppol eGovernment (eDelivery) framework, where Orbyt’s expertise and experience play a crucial role.
“Access Point services within Peppol are one of Orbyt’s core competencies. This gives us confidence that Orbyt will be a reliable provider,”
says Karl Jacob Sævil, Adviser and Product Manager for Digital Post to Citizens.
Digdir emphasises quality, competence, and execution as key selection criteria for its suppliers, and Orbyt stood out through a strong combination of technical expertise and a proven ability to deliver. The collaboration so far has been characterised by open communication, productive meetings, and an effective approach to problem-solving.
“We’ve had a good experience working with Orbyt. The team demonstrates solid professional understanding, and their leadership shows genuine commitment to progress,”
Sævil adds.
This partnership further strengthens Orbyt’s position as a trusted provider of digital delivery and communication solutions in the Nordics, and underlines the quality and reliability of our services. Both parties are now committed to ensuring a smooth implementation and stable operations.
“We are very pleased to enter into this partnership with Digdir and to support the Norwegian public sector with our expertise in Peppol Access Point services. Strengthening our position as a trusted Peppol Service Provider remains a key priority for Orbyt,”
says Rune Løbersli, CEO of Orbyt.
